The DuraSlat Seat 1 is predominantly constructed of DuraSlat (a wood composite) with some structural components in galvanized steel. The simple block style bench with back is designed to minimise deflection from the sun and heat producing the ultimate environmentally-friendly maintenance free public furniture solution. The wood fibre component of the DuraSlat gives the seat more the look and feel of timber, without the periodic maintenance.
