The Silver tile is a high technology preassembled element. This is used in a system formed by a main structure of prestressed concrete H-shaped beams and a secondary structure of Silver tiles (maximum length 22 m, transversal V section and height 91 or 56 cm); these two structures are connected by some high insulating power elements (sandwich top cover vaulted elements or alucem top cover vaulted elements).
The Silver element is prestressed and formed by a layer of concrete of supporting intrados, a layer of foamed polystyrene, totally encapsulated in the concrete and a waterproofing corrugated sheet, fixed to the concrete during the casting phase. After the casting, the intrados of the element is whitewashed with quartz paint.
In the Silverino option all the tiles are placed with a distance of 6m on the variable section Ancora beams or the H60 beams. In that case the maximum length of this element is 13.5 m. Furthermore, there are many possibilities to obtain light from the top cover: the shed windows are available in many models, with a main frame formed by steel poles or with aluminium fittings, that can be fixed or can be opened through a motor unit.
The skylights, instead of the top cover vaulted elements, are realized in corrugated bicameral polycarbonate. They permit us to realize many light shafts (replacing a top cover vaulted element with a skylight-slab) or bright corridors (roofing-over of the space between two adjacent tiles using only skylight-slabs).
